Perimeter, Area and Volume

Kia Ora.  This is my week's blog posts on perimeter, area and volume.

WALT: how to measure and calculate perimeter, area and volume.

So to measure perimeter you have to add up each on every side of your area that your working with. All even sides it is easier than measuring the length of uneven sides for a perimeter.

To measure Area you have to get the top length and times it by either of the sides that gives you the area here is a example. lets say the shapes area is measured by m you would write 6m2 because you are measuring 2D shapes.

Measuring volume.
is probably the hardest you have to predict how many squares / any shape to fill the shape.                                                                            Image result for measuring volumeHere is a slide of all my maths questions for Area perimeter and volume.

  1. Hi Arli. I like this post because you have many explanations on area, perimeter and volume. I also like how you used your WALT's.
